3 Wins for RockerDown in the AVA Digital Awards, Including Platinum!

RockerDown Studios crushes it at the AVA Digital Awards

Raleigh, NC, February 8th, 2016
RockerDown Studios, a pioneering creative services company, today announced three wins in the internationally respected AVA Digital Awards. They received an honorable mention for their Lenovo xClarity instructional video.  Under the Corporate Image category they received a Gold for their MetLife Technical University video, and under the Marketing Product category, they took a Platinum, the highest honor from AVA. The biggest award, however, came for their prized effort of 2015. The Cortana and REACHit launch video under the Marketing Product category earned them a platinum award.

"I've honestly been remiss submitting other work we've done in previous years. Even so, this was a surprise to submit three videos for consideration to our peers in the industry and be recognized for each one of them so handily. We're not exactly humbled by this," Rusty laughs, "we work incredibly hard and love committing ourselves to doing things we don't know how to do yet." Rusty Worden, President, RockerDown Studios LLC.

The Ava Awards competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP), a professional association consisting of several thousand production, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations and freelance professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals who exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Less than 15% of the competition’s 2,500 entries received Platinum Awards, while approximately 16% were awarded Gold. Just 7% of entries garnered Honorable Mention. A list of 2016 Digital Awards winners can be found at avaawards.com.
